Our Mission

To formalise the existing network of influential international and Cameroonian business leaders
committed to economic growth, corporate citizenship and to the principles of transparency and good
governance; and to use the collective wisdom and influence of that network, locally and internationally,
in support of:

  • The private investor community in Cameroon;
  • Investors and other partners seeking to do business with or in Cameroon;
  • Cameroon’s initiatives in attracting foreign investors.

Historically, people of various professions have banded together in common purpose, and so it was with the private personnel services industry in California. The Cameroon Association of Professionals was initially formed in 1999 as the Southern California Employment Agencies Association and incorporated as a non-profit corporation on February 18, 1947.

Welcome to CPA's brand new website!
Our redesign provides ease of navigation with improved search capabilities. Everything you want to know about our association – its rich history, major events, benefits of membership, calendar of state and chapter activities, and secure online registration for events and membership are just a click away!

Every year, CPA offers three major statewide events:
The 3-day Staffing & Recruiting Conference, 2-day Owners Only Retreat and Legislative Day (in Sacramento). For those individuals who are in the staffing and recruiting business, each of these annual conferences and programs qualifies for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Only one edit window! How do I create "Read more..."? PDF Print E-mail

This is now implemented by inserting a Read more... tag (the button is located below the editor area) a dotted line appears in the edited text showing the split location for the Read more.... A new Plugin takes care of the rest.

It is worth mentioning that this does not have a negative effect on migrated data from older sites. The new implementation is fully backward compatible.
